Agno Pharma is a US-FDA approved CRO/CMO, with a US-FDA approved and inspected ISO 9001, ISO 14001, & OHSAS 18001 Certified GMP API Facility in China. We are a long-term member of SOCMA and DCAT. In addition, we honor and practice ChemSteward’s core principles to ensure all our services and products are environmentally friendly, healthy and safe to our customers, employees and our community.
Environmental
The care for our community and environment starts with developing green chemical processes. Our clients and the management team at Agno are fully committed to greener chemistry to protect our environment. We are in full compliance with local environmental laws, and additionally, the environmental requirements of our clients.
Prior to the construction of our facility, environmental concerns were evaluated as a high priority in the design of our facility. The impact from the manufacturing process of all potential products were thoroughly reviewed and approved by a panel of environmental experts, as well as government officials.
In addition, we use state-of-the-art technologies for the treatment of hazardous waste. For example, we use an innovative scrubbing technology for the trapping and treatment of gaseous hazardous waste. For waste water treatment, we use state-of-the-art technologies for the treatment of hazardous aqueous waste. Agno’s organic liquid waste is treated by a waste treatment company that is fully audited and qualified by the management team at Agno. Our solid waste is incinerated by a government authorized company.
Health
We greatly care for the well-being of our customers, our employees, and our community. In addition to the environmental technologies mentioned above to protect the health of all stakeholders, we have excellent policies in place to protect the health of our employees. One of these policies is a very restrictive corporate policy that requires employees who work with hazardous materials to wear protective equipment while on duty. In addition, there are designated changing rooms to prevent cross contamination between our products and our employees.
All employees are required to have a physical health examination prior to employment. Agno does not allow employees to work while they are sick or having other health-related issues. Employees out with more than 3 days of illness must have a comprehensive examination by a physician prior to resuming his or her duties.
Safety
Safety is our top priority, with no compromises, and we take pride in our spotless safety track record. Our management team is held accountable for maintaining a zero OSHA reportable safety event every year. Our employees undergo a rigorous safety program to deal with any safety accident and on its prevention. Prior to the operation of our manufacturing plant, we have completely evaluated our processes from a safety perspective and a safety report has been reviewed and approved by a panel of experts, as well as the government. Over the last ten years, Agno has not had any major safety accidents, nor any government reportable safety incident.
